Lillian Slaughter is a community-driven filmmaker and documentary film editor. Inspired by their relationships, Lillian’s work focuses on documentary storytelling with a goal of a better understanding of others.

A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Lillian Slaughter received a MA in Southern Studies from the University of Mississippi in 2022, and is currently an MFA candidate in Documentary Expression.
