Taylor Gunter
the greek receipt

The University of Mississippi is run by the Greek organizations that take residents on the
grounds. These groups preach diversity and inclusion for all who want to join. The reality of Greek life is that the equity and inclusion that is promised is actually a smokescreen into the reality that not all can join and most can’t afford. Take a deeper look at how the financial commitment and hidden costs are impacting a student of the greek community. Take a look into one student’s reality of working 40 hours a week to still feel like an imposter in her sisterhood.
