The Nerds of Ole Miss

A university is a place for students to discover themselves, build networks, and ultimately contribute to a body of knowledge. Graduate students play a pivotal role in facilitating this vision of higher education, where they push the boundaries of existing knowledge. In this short film, I tell the story of some fascinating research conducted by our graduate students at the University of Mississippi. I bring to the fore the Graduate Student Council Symposium, an avenue through which graduate students share their research annually, hoping that it will encourage current and existing students and faculty to participate in the event subsequently.
