Julia Kraus is an oral historian and audio producer elevating the stories of individuals with earnest, gay silliness. She records the experiences of overlooked communities, from stonemasons in the Arkansas Ozarks, to migrant workers on the Chesapeake Bay. As an M.A. student in Southern Studies, she strives to combine personal narratives with interdisciplinary research to reveal a fuller picture of the American South.
