Cooper Caviness attempts to change the stigma around Mississippi and the South in his work. Cooper has made a couple of projects that exemplify this over his career. In the future Cooper plans to continue creating short films and documentaries to change the stigma associated with the south.

Cooper Caviness is a Mississippi-born filmmaker attending The University of Mississippi’s Film Production program. Cooper Caviness is currently a Junior at The University of Mississippi and has made many short films and other media while attending. Cooper currently works for and attends many other organizations at the University of Mississippi some of which include NewsWatch, Ole Miss Esports Club, and Oxford Reels.
