Southern Comfort: The Family of City Grocery
For this project I decided to focus on the staff of City Grocery and more importantly how we are a family. I brought my camera to work just to play around with some ideas which brought me to focus on my coworkers. I wanted to capture moments of pre shift, during shift and after shift. My pictures show southern hospitality as well as family.
Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Gracie is currently getting her BA in Southern Studies with a minor in art at the University of Mississippi. Gracie intends on graduating in the Spring of 2026. Taking this course has showed me to capture the happy moments in life which was my main focus for this final project.
