Scattered Feathers by Dason Pettit

Dason Pettit is a lens based artist working in Oxford. He attended Northeast Community College from 2009-2011, and  graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2013 from the University of Mississippi. From 2015-18 he studied photography at Louisiana State University, receiving his Master of Fine Arts in May of 2018. Pettit currently works for the University of Mississippi as a photographer and videographer for the College of Liberal Arts.

Scattered Feathers is an exhibition that tracks the plight of the ivory-billed woodpecker in small Southern communities.
