A native of Princeton, NJ, Taylor comes to the Southern Studies program to pursue his passion in food studies and agricultural history. He previously worked as a chef in the Northeast and trained further in Italy before running two kitchens. He received his B.A. from Wake Forest University in History and Political Science. Before moving to Oxford, he worked in finance in New York City and served as the communicators director for a congressional campaign.
