Patrick McIntyre
Executive Director and State Historic Preservation Officer, Tennessee Historical Commission
Patrick McIntyre has spent over 25 years as a historic preservation professional and has led the Tennessee Historical Commission, the state agency responsible for helping conserve the state’s historic places, since 2007. He is a native of Montgomery, Alabama and grew up there and in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated with his M.A. in Southern Studies from the University of Mississippi in 1995, and he holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of Alabama.
