The Life of an International Student in Oxford

This is the very first time that I have been so far from my home, family, and country. The first couple of weeks were really hard for me. New people, a vastly different culture, and the sweet food were just a few things that made my life even harder. Things are still weird, but it’s getting better every day. And that’s when I had this thought about working on a project that reflects all these things.

My project, “The Life of an International Student in Oxford,” reflects a different perspective of a student from other countries and backgrounds. This started with my curiosity to know if it is just all the international students who go through the same hardship I am going through. Listening to a few people made me realize that I want to turn this into a project. I am a visual artist, and I really believe I could justify this story through the help of audio and video, so I made a documentary film.

I am enthusiastic about this project, and I want to take it to another level. So, the version you are seeing now is a somewhat first draft of my project. I want to explore more and refine this project further.
