hudson-apOn Wednesday, October 14, at noon in Barnard Observatory, Dr. Angela Pulley Hudson of Texas A&M University will present a lecture on her book Real Native Genius: How an Ex-slave and a White Mormon Became Famous Indians. The book will be published in the fall of 2015 by the University of North Carolina Press.

At 2:30pm, UM faculty and graduate students in Southern Studies, Anthropology, and History are invited to Barnard Observatory for a discussion and reception with Dr. Hudson.

Brown Bag Lectures take place on select Wednesdays during the fall and spring semesters in the Tupelo Room in the west wing of Barnard Observatory. Brown Bags last one hour and are free and open to the public.
