Exhibit Opening with Lecture by Charles Wilson on Religion and Civil Rights

On April 25th at 5:00 a new exhibition in the Faulkner Room will have its official opening event. Entitled “Preserving Our Past: Highlights from Archives & Special Collections” this exhibition features treasures from the holdings of the Department of Archives & Special Collections in the J.D. Williams Library. Dr. Charles Wilson, Cook Chair of History and Professor of Southern Studies, will be speaking on “Mississippi Religion and Social Change: Duncan Gray and Religious Currents in the Civil Rights Era” to commemorate the event.
